Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) Information

THINKLET meets international guidelines for radio frequency (RF) exposure.

Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) is used to measure RF energy absorbed by the body. The SAR limit is 2 W/Kg averaged over 10 g of tissue. The limit includes a substantial safety margin designed to assure the safety of all persons, regardless of age and health condition.

The highest SAR value for THINKLET is 0.62 W/kg when worn on the body under the following conditions:

  • Test distance for SAR is 0 mm with no metallic components
  • Transmission levels are set to the maximum.

Although the SAR is determined at the highest transmission levels during test, the SAR of THINKLET can be well below the maximum value during normal operations.
